Dang! First Japan dethrones us and wins the AFC Futsal Championship, and then Bahrain keeps us out of the beach football final!

Not good! … But wait!

Iran won third place on the beach by defeating the Chinese, and …. listen to this ….. because of that qualified for the 2006 Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup to be held in Rio de Janeiro.

Yesssssss! … We are going to Rio where there are beautiful beaches, potent drinks, delicious food, and ……… ahm! …. Women wear the proper attire (You are never sure who might be reading this!)! :p

You reminded me of back in the late seventies the chief justices of the Supreme Court in the United States used to go down in the basement of the supreme court to review whether certain movies were to be deemed pornographic or not. They even had popcorn brought in. I’m not kidding. I wonder if the powers that be are “reviewing” what’s fit for Iranian consumption. I hope the team doesn’t get banned, Bob won’t send us down to Rio if that happens.
