Three Iranian coaches, namely Amir Ghalehnoei, Afshin Ghotbi, and Bijan Zolfagharnasab have been ask to submit their proposals/programs for Team Melli to the Iranian Football Federation. Yep! IFF wasted months of valuable time just to look back and go after one of the guys who was just under their noses!

Nekounam commits to Osasuna through 2011

Despite not having fully recovered from a severe knee injury, Osasuna extended Iran midfielder Javad Nekounam’s contract until 2011. This shows how highly the Pamplona club thinks of the 27 year old midfielder.
