Afghan’s exit with another draw
April 5th, 2006 | By: Afshin Afshar | No Comments »
My adopted team, Afghanistan, finished their AFC Challenge Cup campaign with a draw against Philippines.
For a second game in a row, the Afghans gave away a lead and settle for a draw. They exit the tournament with one loss and two draws, which is not bad for their first major tournament. Giving up leads for a young team is not unusual. Hopefully they can build on this experience and move up to the next level.
