Ahmadinejad vs. Bush in a penalty shootout!
Now that Bush is “starting to understand how important the World Cup is” I want to make a proposal.
In order to resolve the issue over Ahmadinejad attending the games, I propose GW and Ahmadinejad have little one-on-one football match. We put Oliver Kahn in the goal and let GW and Ahmadinejad take 10 penalties each. The winner gets to collect the big prize, tickets to all their national team’s games and plus a pair to the final.
To see what a hotshot penalty kicker Ahmadinejad is, look here. This video was made a few weeks ago when he showed up at Team Melli’s camp and warmed up with the team (notice his stretch) before taking a few shots at Team Melli goalkeeper Ebrahim Mirzapour.
GW, watch out!

Is he going to actually try and go to the World Cup?

I don’t know Lyle. His PR people are not clear about it yet. A few weeks ago they said he would, then they said he wouldn’t. Now we just don’t know ![]()

I don’t see Germany letting him in. He’s not their friend.
If did go, he’d be protested big time by German Greens and others.
I would kind of like him to go and see what happens to him there.
