Ali Daei news was no news!

Sorry to announce that the news of Ali Daei joining Branko Ivankovic’s coaching staff was nothing but an April’s Fools Day joke released one day early!

Yep! I was just warming up for a series of …. ahmm! ….opinions to be published on this very site, but I suppose I won’t be doing that now! Bummer!

Here is what’s so funny. Apparently a few official Iranian News sites picked this as a real report up and printed it as news only to find out that it was just joke! The Iran Sports Press folks, realizing the amazing power of their pen, decided to take it off their site. Oh well, I though it was a good one anyway.
