An Iranian coach to lead Iran through the first round

It is now official, or is it?! Ali Kaffashian, the new Chair of the Iranian football federation has announced that Team Melli will be lead by an Iranian coach thought the first round of the qualifying matches, and a foreign coach will be hired for the next round.
There are two problems with this approach, first if the Iranian coach does well and takes the team past first round, even IRIFF will have a hard time pulling a switch, and second, who said it is a given that Team Melli will make it through to the 2nd round?!
And third (I know I said only two problems but what the heck!), after what happened with Artur Jorge and Javier Clemente, which self respecting coach will return the call when IRIFF calls?
Don’t you just love the comedy/drama that is Iranian football?!

Given present condition of Team Melli, I’ll, too, stick with any coach that would be able to take us to 2nd round! Iranian or foreign, pulling this off would prove he’s capable!!!!!!!!
Like you though, I’m just affraid it won’t happen!
