Daei catching up with The Emperor? Naaah!
Did you hear about Mexico defender Claudio Suarez breaking the most capped record in his next game with the Ticos? One hundred and seventy four caps! Wow!
I find this amazing! I thought Ali Daei had hung around for too long! But the poor chap only has 145 caps!
I am going to put my foot in my mouth and say, I am all for Daei breaking that record too!! What the heck, now that he is going to stick around whether I like it or not, let him get another damned record! The thing is at the rate that Iranian Football Federation is scheduling friendly games, Daei will have to stick around until 2022 World Cup to tie Suarez who, by the way, happens to be thirty seven years old as well!
