El Classico
April 1st, 2006 | By: Afshin Afshar | No Comments »
El Classico did not play up to the hype. There were five of us watching the game. Amongst us we had two genuine Real fans from Spain, two Barca fans from their foreign legion of supporters (I am one), and one neutral fan.
All of us unanimously agreed that:
1. The penalty call was questionable.
2. Carlos Alberto acted unprofessionally.
3. Ronaldinho was the best player on the field.
4. Ronaldo is obviously slower.
Here are a few goods and bads from the game.
Bad
Penalty for Barca
Carlos Alberto
Ronaldo’s Pink Card!
Good
Ronaldinho
Ronaldo’s goal
Ikern Casillas
As for the battle between Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, I’d say it as a draw, just like the game itself.
