Give me some news!

I love the Iranian New Year, Nowrooz. It is a great holiday for everyone who enjoys the change of the season. It starts at the beginning of spring, which is around March 20, and goes on for thirteen days. On the thirteenth day everyone goes out for a big family picnic. During the thirteen days in between family and friends visit each other. Lots of laughter and good times are shared.
But for goodness sake nothing else happens! Nothing!
No newspapers, no government work, no FOOTBALL, no nothing! The news blackout is killing me! I hope Team Melli players are not sitting on their butts, eating all the tasty holiday pastry and food.
I sure am doing that very exact thing! Eating, drinking and getting fat!
