Iran and Czech Republic friendly?
A couple of Tehran sports dailies reported that the Iranian Football Federation has approached Czech Republic for a friendly. If true, this game will replaced the now cancelled March 1 Ukraine game.
As my younger brother told me earlier today, “I believe it when I see Nedved walking on Tehran’s Azadi Stadium pitch.”
If any of you Czech fans are reading this, will you please let this long suffering Iranian football fan know if this is true or not?

I haven’t heard that rumor yet. The latest ones I’d heard are here ->

I’ll let you know if I hear any rumblings from the Czech side.

Thanks very much Wendy. I’ll keep an eye on your weblog for this.
