Iran to play Ghana
It looks like Ghana may be next in the short line of Iran’s pre World Cup friendly matches. The choice makes sense because Team Melli needs to get a practice match against an African team in preparation for Angola.

Word on the street in Accra is that the Black Stars are excited to face Team Melli and think that it will be a valuable tuneup for both squads. Don’t make too much of similarities with Angola though, lest Team Melli vastly overestimate the challenge that will face them in Germany from the meek Palancas Negras.
