Mexico played a warm-up match against Holland on Thursday. Yes, all of our opponents are playing top notch teams in preparation for the World Cup, but not us! We take the Brazilian approach and play lower division teams in Switzerland!

Just kidding, we played Croatia after all. But we should have played more games against teams at that level.

Well, it wasn’t for a lack of trying that we couldn’t get more high level matches. Ukraine cancelled, ghana canceled. unfortunately i think politics had too much influence on the declinations of other teams to play with team melli.
