Nekounam gets his revenge!

Team Melli midfielder Javad Nekounam who plays for Sharjah of UAE avenged his unceremonious dismissal from his former club and now rivals Al Wahda.
Nekounam was signed by Al Wahda last year, but after a few bad results there was a coaching change and the incoming coach wanted Angolan Maurito at the Nekounam who then joined Sharjah.
Al Wahda and Sharjah met in the UAE President’s Cup at the semi-final stage. The game was decided by a penalty shootout after a 3:3 draw. Nekounam scored Sharjah’s first and third goal.
