Which is your favorite foreign league?

Wondering!

This is a question for all you football fans.

Which is your favorite foreign league (e.g. Bundesliga, Premier League, Serie A, just pick a league besides your domestic one) and Why? Include your nationality, your favorite league, and the reason why you favor this league.

Growing up in Iran, my favorite league was the german league and the reason was the 1974 World Cup winning West German team. I liked many of the players on that team, so I followed their club games too.

I follow the Iran players in Germany but I also watch a lot of the English league because that is what is shown the most in the US. People in Iran follow them all. We’r football crazy.

Nationality: Iranian
League: Bundesliga

I know it’s not all that great but it’s where a few of our players play/ed and (have) enjoy/ed a fair amount of success.

Wendy, American.

La Liga, hands down. There is so much creativity in this league – more than just athleticism, which they have in abundance, but they also have the moves! Bonus: getting to see Ronaldinho on a weekly basis.

I’m from Brazil and I love to see La Liga.

Most of our great players are there. Real Madrid has Ronaldo, Robinho, Roberto Carlos, Julio Baptista and Cicinho. Barcelona has Ronaldinho and the great talent of the Argentinean Messi.

The Italian and the French are interesting too, but far from beeing as good as La Liga.
