Who would you call to replace Zare?

Iman Mobali

Iranian Football Federation and Branko Ivankovic called Moharam Navidkia to replace the injured defender Sattar Zare.

I like Navidkia a lot, but he has been injured a couple of times over the last two years, and may not be in top shape.

Who would you call to the camp if you had to choose? Tell us who and why.

I would call Iman Mobali because he can play the left side and he can inject some offense into the team.

IMHO the best available selection was Maniee. He is young, fast and he is a talented left-foot back. Navidkia’s injuries is not the only fact that prove this is a bad decision, but he have very close features to our other defensive midfielders like Ando or Nekounam. Finally I think we must work more on our wings. Maybe it is not true, but I feel all goals we gave up to them rooted in weakness of Team Melli’s sides.
Sorry for ‘TABLOO’ weakness of my english ;)

sinattaj jAn, your English is fine and your are absolutely right about Maniei. I forgot about him. Yes, he should have been the one called back, not Navid Kia.

In the iranian primier leaguge, he is one of the most offensive left halfbacks and also he is involved in many goals of the FC Pas, notabaly against Perspolis and Esteghlal.
I have another opinion:
what’s the benefit of using ‘exprienced players’ when the ones like Mirza or Daei can’t even be an amatuer? I hope that our bad day would not cause you to forget the fairy shows of our ‘unexprienced’ mans: Ando(Infact he rocks) and Madanchi (Added into FIFA future players of WC2006 by just less than 10 min. of presence).
If exprience means success, we are nothing at all.

I think Manniei and Mobaali both should have played in this world cup. but now, we should have called Maniei. because he worked with this team a lot more than Mobaali. he was in sitzerland with this team and he is a good left foot player.

they could choose one only from a list that called stand-by list, this list had been sent to “FIFA” and contained only five names,i’m agree with all of u gus “Mobali” is a great talent but his name wasn’t on that list on among those five i think ” maneie” was the best choice but i guess that the main reason for picking “Navaidkia”(who can be one the best midfielder in teammelli’s history)was the visa issue, u know that “he had germany’s visa” and the other ones hadn’t it!!
