Mohsen Safaei-Farahani warns Iranian clubs of being left behind

The Asian Football Confederation is reorganizing its showcase club tournament, the AFC Champions League. There are clear and swift measures to push Asian clubs towards true professionalism and that could spell trouble for Iranian clubs that are more to be desired when it comes to professional organization and operation.
The former IRIFF Chief has been warning Iranian football and club authorities about what may lay ahead if they do not start making the necessary adjustments. InĀ this interview with the-afc.com he reiterates what he has been telling the Iranian media for a while.
