Uruguay it is!

Uruguay and Italy tied 0-0 as a result Italy won Group F, but third place Uruguay got to go through and their Round of 16 opponents? Yes, you guessed it, Iran.

A football freak South American friend mine told me that the Colombians were a better team, so since we fared well against them, we should do fine against Uruguay. I am not sure that I agree with that. I think Uruguayans are a very tough team. I have always had a soft spot for them too; a tiny country between two football giants, and yet such football pedigree. How can you not admire that?
