Daei getting a new assistant
There are reports coming out of Iran that German coach Eric Rothemuller (I am not sure about the spelling) has been contacted, again, by the Iranian Football Federation to serve on Team Melli’s coaching staff as one of Daei’s assistants. The German’s name had come up in the past as a possible assistant to Daei, but he had declined the offer due to his teaching obligations to FIFA. But he seems to be more willing now. He told reporters that he is waiting for Daei’s call, and should it come he would be ready to meet with him in person and discuss terms. Rothemuller is a highly sought FIFA coaching instructor, but I have not been able to find much about his resume on the Internet, at least not in English. I would appreciate it greatly if any of the readers can point me at the right direction.
