Wow i cant wait for this game, im staying home from school to watch… Iran lets go i hope that Zandi plays and that Karimi has a impact.

Afshin my guess is same as yours as far as Ghotbi’s team would be!!! Which, BTW, doesn’t look bad and is very safe. Only I would have used Zandi for Ando since he has not been showing much in recent games. Or could have used him (Zandi) even to replace Mahdavikia because I really have not been impressed with him either. Other than that it’s best not to experiment too much this late in the qualifications. Also, this veteran team (minus Nekounam) did pretty good in the first half of North Korea game. I think Ghotbi has to pinpoint the mistakes they made in second half and try to improve those (not enough time to fix everything). Of course, they were mainly due to the fact that Koreans started attacking aggresively and broke our organization. They pretty much did not give us a chance to regroup. I don’t think UAE can pull that tomorrow. But I will worry heavily for the game against South Korea. Good luck to us there….

Guys.. how about if in the 2nd half we have Khalaatbari and Karimi up front with Zandi and Shoajiee as the left and right 1/2 backs and Nekounam and Ando behind them? That would be one heck of the attacking team. In fact, Maadanchi can play left 1/2 back and Zandi can take Ando’s place. That would even be better
Wow!!!
Doooo Dooo Roooo Dooo Doo… Iran

to be honest , it does not matter who they start. we do not have players who can pass the ball. when watching Team melli play it appears to be a pick up team where everyone plays for themself and just boots the ball up.
Iran will not have good soccer team and will continue to let thier fan down as long as this politic crap grows.
when the country does not allow friendly games or no other country feels safe to come to Iran for friendlies due to politic aspect the team can not progress, while only playing aginst crap teams in asia.
thats my 2 cent. i u use to be a hard core team melli fan, but since with all the coach changes politics involving and the team being controlled and be told not to play certain country or not it pisses me off. sick of iran always Ties as well.
