The boys arrive in Abu Dhabi
The Boys had their last workout in Tehran on Saturday. Judging from the photos from the training session, it was a very cold day.
Thanks to the amazing combined powers of the Internet and Google I discovered that UAE weather temperatures at this time of the year hover somewhere in the upper 70s. So our boys, who arrived there on Sunday and will be there for the next three days, will have to adjust.
The team arrived in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. Our four Europe based players, Mehdi Mahdavikia and Vahid Hashemian from Germany, Javad Nekounam and Masoud Shojaei from Spain, will join them on Monday.
Talking to reporters coach Ali Daei dismissed suggestions that he may be looking for draw and promised that, although on the road, the team will be going after all three points.
The team will have their workouts on Al Nasr stadiums grounds.
