What a great day for Iranian football!
October 15th, 2008 | By: Afshin Afshar | No Comments »
Our U16 boys defeated UAE 3-0 to make it to the final of the Asian U16 championship. This is the first time since 2000 that they have made it this far. In 2000 they were defeated by Oman 1-0.
But the main event on the ticket today was the senior side’s match against DPR Korea which they won 2-1.
I think it is safe to say that the pagan gods of football were smiling down on us today!
