A new World Cup Ambassador
March 31st, 2006 | By: Afshin Afshar | No Comments »
FIFA announced the addition of the former German international Siegfried “Sigi” Held to the ranks of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Ambassadors. Congratulations Sigi.
I don’t remember watching Sigi play; even I am too young for that, but I can’t help but wonder how Sigi managed to see the field with them eyebrows blocking his view!
He scored 43 goals in 229 Bundesliga appearances for Borussia Dortmund. Maybe he would have scored a few more if he trimmed those eyebrows!
