Ahmadinejad says let women into sports stadiums
April 24th, 2006 | By: Afshin Afshar | 1 Comment »
Hurray for all of you who were involved in this by spreading the word or signing the petition(s).
According to a number of news agencies, in a TV interview Iran president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that accommodations should be made by the officials so women can attend sports events.
Although I can not tell you how “chastity” may be related to attending sports events, but personally I welcome this as an intent to take a step towards the right direction.
We hope that the necessary steps are taken so this happens as soon as possible.
