Actually I think the portuguese league is in the top 5. Tis is how I rank the european leagues:

#1 Spain & Engalnd
#3 Italy
#4 France
#5 Portugal

So yes, this means I put it above the dutch and belgium leagues. More… Since Adam and Eve, SL Benfica won twice the champs league – before it had a different name – they were finalists another number of times. FC Porto won the champs league a couple of years ago. Sporting CP was finalist of the UEAFA coup last year.

I agree with your rank order Pedro, only I think that the German league should be #4. The skillful players always start their careers at the Portuguese league. e.g. Figo, C.Ronaldo, Deco etc.
