Tony, Portugal means orange in Persian. We are going to squeeze Portugal then toss them around a bit then peel them and eat them.

Iran has a lot to lose more than Orange ☺ (sorry Portugal). I am sure will see an exciting match.

Portugal couldn’t take out a weak Angola team. It seems more unlikely that they will just run over a good Iran team.

Don’t forget about president Ahmadinejad’s role in our defeat! Because of his comments about holocaust nobody played any friendly with us and here is the result! Mexico played friendly with strong opponents one after the other, they lost some friendlies, but they won the one which counts!

I’m a fan of Mexico and I just wanted to tell you that you guys have nothing to be ashamed of. Iran played a good game that had me biting my nails most of the game. I think you have an even chance at beating Portugal. You guys can still qualify.
