Brasileiro, the world’s most skillfull league

Bob just posted a clip from making of my favorite Adidas commercial. I even liked that one! Especially I like the part with all the stars talking about when they were kids.

I don’t know why, but this commercial just did something for me, and so did this new clip. Maybe in my old age I am becoming to soft for these nostalgic type commercials :)

In 1998 WC my favorite was the Nike commercial which had good versus evil teams facing off. My favorite part was at the end when Eric Cantona says, “au revoir!” just before flipping up his collar and shooting it through the nasty goalkeeper!

There funny little parts in it too. Like when Maldini says, “May be they are friendly!” or when the blind referee flips a card!

I watched most of the 1998 games in my local Italian café. The place would be packed with people from all around the world and most everyone liked this commercial. Every time it came on, we would all shout “au revoir!” with Cantona!

May sound silly now, but it was fun then :)

There is another good one out that plays a bit on the culture and football culture thing. Take a look for yourself and let me know what you think. Watch it all the way to the end for Brazi.

The biggest problem with all these commercials though is that there are not Team Melli players in them!!!! ;)

Good vs. evil is definitely my favourite, closely followed by the one with the Ninjas – because if you look closely, you’ll spot Dwight Yorke!

LOL! After I read your comment and went back to see it again. Yes, I picked him up this time. He is easy to miss if you not know his face.

Someone here posted a link for a site full of football comercial. Unfortunelly I losted.

About the Brazilian League, it seems like its becoming week once that our best players are in Europe. However, there are still many skilfull players here. São Paulo, Corinthians, Inter and Fluminense have teams that could face most of the Europeans.

I think the Airport one came out around the same time as Good vs. Evil in 1998. I really like it.
