Costa Rica and Iran friendly on March 1

Iranian Football Federation (IRIFF) announced that the Costa Rican national will be traveling to Tehran for a friendly match with the Iranian national team on Wednesday, March 1.

This is welcome news for Iranians who have been having problems arranging friendly matches ahead of this summer’s World Cup.

Costa Rica will reportedly be taking the same squad to Tehran that will be opening against Germany in Munich on June 9.
