Farewell to a truly nice guy
Guys, Portugal match was Golmohammadi’s last international match.
I am glad that he got to play in two World Cup matches. I never forget the picture of him coming off the Azadi stadium field crying after we were eliminated by Ireland almost two years ago.
Thanks for all the hard work Yahya and best of luck.

He sometimes made bad mistakes in Team Melli, but usually they were in less important games. In more important games he somehow came through and became more reliable. Also, he always worked very hard and gave his best and that’s what matters. He deserves a lot of credit for the work he has done in Team Melli.

I am sure he was one of those who put his 110% for the games!
Get well soon, Yahya!
