I’m outta here!
Guys, it has been a pleasure. For the last few months I have been filling up these pages with any Team Melli and football related stuff I could get my hands on. I even covered Persian Cuisine for goodness sake! But the time has come to go home.
Thank you, all of you, for making this fun.
I would like to name a few of you, and thank you for your wonderful contributions to Iran Weblog, but I am not going to do that because I am afraid I may leave someone out by mistake.
So, thank you for all your insightful, kind, friendly, playful, and passionate contribution. This was one of the more fun projects with which I have been involved in the last few months, and it was mostly because of you. Thank you
If you ever come to the San Francisco Bay Area, make sure to contact me. I would love to meet you and talk more football with you!
My email is afshin_afshar(at)yahoo(dot)com use it!
My brother, a couple of friends, and I manage a website about which you probably know by now. It is lastkick.com. Come visit us there.
Team Melli friends, we now have Asian Cup 2007 to look forward to. So do not lose your passion just yet.
Good luck Portugal and Mexico, make Group D proud! Angola, hold your heads high. You did great.
Goodbye friends, doostaan beh dorood, Adiós amigos, Adeus amigos, Auf Wiedersehen Freunde.
We LOVE you Team Melli. Long Live Iran!
Doo doo roo doo doo …. IRAN!

Glad to see you think that too. I just saw #7 Ferydoon Zandi this FIFA and I am head over heels. He played in the IRAN/ANGOLA match full-time and the IRAN/PORTUGAL match for the last 20 minutes. He’s half-german nice build, great hair, etc, etc. Damn hot!

Missz_Zandi and Felicia,
I agree! I think Iran’s got great looking players too! I was stunned when I saw them cause I too thought Italy had the best looking, but wow! those iranians are hot!
