Iranian Professional League – Round 12 Wrap

Iranian Professional League

Poor Naser Hejazi! The Esteghlal of Tehran coach, who used to have a hobby out of picking on other coaches, especially those of the national team in the media, is getting a big dose of his own medicine now.

His team is near the bottom of the table and there is no relief in sight. They dropped a two game lead this weekend to lose 3:2 to Paykan.

Afshin Ghotbi’s team Perspolis of Tehran on the other hand continue their unbeaten streak and now are at 22; a record in Iranian Professional League.

Sepahan of Isfahan are not far behind, however. They trail Perspolis by only a few points and three games at hand.
