Nekounam linked to UAE’s Al Sharjah
It seems like Iran midfielder Javad Nekounam may be staying in UAE after all, although not with his current club Al Wahda.
The new coach at Al Wahda does not want Nekounam and insists on off loading him.
Nekounam, however, is not keen on coming back to Iran. He has good reasons for that too. Should he sign with any other club than his previous club Pas, he will not be able to play in any league games, and he has already nixed the idea of returning to Pas.
The news out of UAE is that Al Sharjah, another UAE club, has shown some interest in the player. If the two clubs reach an agreement on the fee, Nekounam may soon be playing for his third club this year.
