Ouch! Iran and Japan are Asia’s worst so far!

Guys,

This is bad! As it stands now we are the worst Asian team in the tournament. Here are the results and standings for Asian Teams so far:

Korea 2:1 Ghana
KSA 2:2 Tunisia
Japan1:3 Australia
Iran 1:3 Mexico

(Australia entered this tournament by the way of Oceania. So I am not including them in AFC yet)

Let’s hope for better results for all the Asian teams (That is good for the entire continent in terms of getting spots for the next World Cup), but most of all for Team Melli.

It looks VERY bad right now, but don’t give up on our boys yet. Keep up the spirit.

Doo doo roo doo doo ……. IRAN :)

Guys please no more trashing team melli and its coach. There is nothing more sickening than Iranians attacking Iranians. Granted our team made mistakes in that game and maybe our coach didn’t have the best strategy for the second half but last time I checked that was the coach and those were the players that got us to the WC in the first place.

I know we have little chance of beating Portugal on Saturday but we’ll have a chance nonetheless. What I realy wanna see is an Iran team that puts it all on the line and attacks like they did in the first half of the Mexico game. As long as they show the spirit of Iran and show that they don’t quit i will gladly go down with that ship!

I am REALLY looking forward to see Iran owning Portugal! I also hope beside Ali Daei’s absence in that game we can replace Mirzaapour with a better goal keeper who can shoot!

Payam,

I never attacked Iran with my comments. I said we were going to win, by how much and why. It all tuned out how I predicted it.

I went to the Angola blog but it looks boring. I like you guys a lot better.

;)

So tarkaba,

You were also right about the crow being mostly mexico fans. So how come so many Mexicans live in Germany. I never knew that! Germany is pretty far for immigration from Mexico, isn’t it?! (No common borders to cross!!!! just joking…. :) )

LOLOL!

There are many Iranians in Germany too, and there are no common borders to cross.

Unfortunately for the fans in Europe, Iranian share of tickerts were not distributed for sale efficiently. I read in an Iranian paper that most of our tickets ended up in Tri-Color fans’ hands!

At least THEY had fun :)

Not many Mexicans live in Germany. A lot of Mexicans traveled to Germany, tho.

It is difficult to match our passion for futbol.

tarkaba,

In one of your previous comments, I’m pretty sure you said that there are a lot of Mexicans living in Germany! Was that trash talk?!:) I must have read it wrong?!…

Afshin,

How do the tickets get distributed?! Iranians living in Germany would not be getting the ones reserved for Iran’s share anyway! right?!

Hey Afshin
Please correct your post:
Korea – Togo is correct not Korea-Ghana.
I think someone had mentioned it already.

tarkaba,

I found it. You said “We are the second largest number of non-Europeans in Germany”. I guess i had misunderstood you! You meant for world cup not in general! That’s impressive. I still wonder how you got all the tickets!!!

I wonder that too.

I watched some footage of Mexicans partying the night before the game in Nuremberg. Some guys bought (or rented?) a car and painted it with our National colors!
