Preparing for Costa Rica
February 27th, 2006 | By: Afshin Afshar | No Comments »
Done with their Bundesliga games over the weekend Iran internationals are back in Tehran in preparation for the Costa Rica friendly.
Ali Karimi and Freydoon Zandi have already attended a practice session. Mehdi Mahdavikia got the first day off to heal a few bumps and bruises he got in the game against Stuttgart, and Vahid Hashemian got the first day off to take care of a few personal matters.
Rahman Rezaeiās situation is curious. It seems like the IRIFF fax sent to Messina on February 5 never got there. As a result Rahman may miss this game. Messina lost to Ascoli over the weekend.
