Not having taken much notice of Iran’s team since their last appearance at a World Cup (sorry) I was delighted to see that Mehdi Mahdivikia is still playing. I’ll look forward to watching him again, he’s a great player. My team, Spurs, was hoping to sign him years ago but it never materialised. Good Luck.

Hey Wendall, glad to see you guys in AFC. I think Australia will bring a lot of good to the Asian game. For one thing, the old Iran-Australia rivalry can resume again, just like the old times.

Fantastic video. I watched it without sound and even then it was thrilling. As an Aussie I don’t even feel sad that we didn’t qualify that year when you see the passion and sheer joy of the fans in Iran.

Very nice video! Thanks for posting it. At the risk of being spied on by George Bush..haha..let me wish Iran good luck in the World Cup. I’m always impressed by the spirit the Iranian people show for their team and I hope that the team has a good showing.
