Mahdavikia was clearly our best player in this World Cup. He could not run in the first game against Mexico because of his back pain. But still our only goal in that game came from his corner kick. The same goes for our goal today against Angola and many of the other chances for goal we had in the games against Portugal and Angola. Overall, I would say Mahdavikia, Zandi, Teymourian, Kaebi, and Rezai were our top performers in the 3 games. Of course there were other ones too who did a good job here and there but these 5 players were the most reliable and consistent. Yes, I agree. He put the most energy into this World Cup for us. I beleive he had truely set his goal on second round this time. Even in Portugal game he did not give up until the last secon.
