The TM Skipper not so popular in the South!
March 26th, 2006 | By: Afshin Afshar | No Comments »
Saba Battery and Foolad, Iran’s representatives in the AFC Champions League, faced off in Round 27 of Iranian Pro League and Saba prevailed 1:0.
Unfortunately, there was a lot of hostility by the Foolad fans towards Saba striker and Team Melli captain Ali Daei.
At some point prior to the kickoff Daei was engaged in a verbal confrontation with a few of the fans, and all the way through the match anti-Daei chants could be heard from the stands.
