Who’s watching Mexico, Angola, and Portugal?
February 27th, 2006 | By: Afshin Afshar | No Comments »
According to the Iranian Football Federation (IRIFF) site Mexico’s coach Ricardo Lavolpe has assigned two analysts to watch Iran’s matches and report back to him.
Lavolpe himself was in Tehran to watch Iran play against Chinese Taipei in their Asian Cup qualifier. That was also reported in the IRIFF site.
Funny that IRIFF should so proudly reports this, because Iran coach Branko Ivankovic has traveled nowhere to see Iran’s opponents. Neither have any of his assistants.
With one friendly match and no scouting one wonders how ready Team Melli will be when June rolls around.
