Why not positive inspiration?
February 9th, 2006 | By: Afshin Afshar | No Comments »
A newspaper cartoonist in Denmark exercised his rights to freedom of speech, alas in bad taste, and many people felt insulted. To “get even” a newspaper in Iran exercised their rights and insulted even more people.
Instead of finding ways to one up each other in insults, I wish people looked at each other for positive inspiration.
I wish Team Melli took a page out of the Dane football history and tried to imitate the 1993 Cinderella team that won the 1992 European Championship.
