Bravo T&T, I hope you make your fans proud!
Hey you Iranian fans out there, check this out!
You know about Trinidad and Tobago right? It is a small Island in the Caribbean. With 1.1 million people, they are the smallest nation ever to have made it to the World Cup. Their football federation had a budget of three million dollars about three years ago. Okay?
Listen up; this is going to make you scratch your head and wonder.
Today, their Dutch head coach Leo Beenhakker announced that they have finalized their World Cup preparation schedule. They are playing six games, yes six, before arriving in Germany.
Playing weak teams you say? Check this out:
February 28 – Iceland in London
May 10 – Peru in Port of Spain
May 23 – Austria Vienna in Austria
May 27 – Wales in Austria
May 31 – Slovenia in Austria
June 3 – Czech Republic in Prague
And their have their first World Cup game on June 10 against Sweden.
How does that sound?
Here is a nation 1/70th the size of Iran and they are first timers.
Look how well organized they are!
I am dumbfounded at casual approach the Iranian federation is taking to Team Melli’s preparations; how about you?

Yes, the Soca Warriors have their act together. Even Saudi Arabia seems to have a good plan in place, something that hurt them in 2002.
