Enough of Dejagah, let’s get on with the game!
Frankly, I am getting tired of reading about every little move Ashkan Dejagah makes! The kid is a good player. Good enough to be in the German U-17 and he was just called to U-21.
He became the center of controversy when he refused to travel to Israel. He was denounced by various Jewish groups, praised by various Iranian government officials and media, and forgiven by German football federation at the end.
I don’t know much about him as a person, but I have watched him play only a few times. He has the potential to become a good international. But I have had enough of the artificial excitement built around his choice for the senior side. I wish he made his choice and put an end to all of this.
My prediction: He will play for Germany.
