Iran and Australia U23 to face off in Vietnam
March 31st, 2006 | By: Afshin Afshar | No Comments »
Iran and Australia U-23 will face off in Vietnam International tournament on April 16. I have not done much reading on Aussie’s U-23 team, but I can tell you about Iran’s U-23.
This squad is a very talented bunch. One of the best and most experienced members of this squad is striker Arash Borhani who is also a member of Team Melli. Then there is Midfielder Andranik Teymourian who may also make it to Germany this summer.
A few of the other talented players on this team are Mehrdad Pouladi, Masud Shojaee, Mojtaba Jabbari, Behshad Yavarzadeh. These guys are likely to be the backbone of the Team Melli once this current generation retires.
