Iranians near exiting Europe

The Iranian contingent is near exiting Europe. The only team left with an Iranian footballer on its roster is Hamburg SV and they lost the first leg of their UEFA Cup tie against Rapid Bucharest. Iran International Mehdi Mahdavikia plays for Hamburg.
