Growing up in Iran I remember hearing the older people in the family argue over what they called the “suspicious goal” in Persian. It took me a few years to gather all the information and finally put all the pieces together. But then I didn’t really care much. It was an argument that belonged to my parents’ generation. Mine was the “Hand of God” goal.
Anyway, hearing this on CNN this morning brought a broad smile to my face, and I had to call my father to tell him about it.
