Guys, this is bad news. Mehrzad Madanchi was injured in training yesterday. Apparently he collided with Ali Karimi during training.

Oh man, oh man! What else can go wrong?!

Don’t be negative and nervous for God sake.

Let’s talk positive and keep it simple. I know this is not simple for us persians.

I go on Talk Strike till Iran - Portugal game. In this way, at least I do less harm to Team Melli.

Let’s keep it simple with portugal = Soorakh Soorakhesh Mikonim !!

Learn from Ukrainians and don’t cry, At least we recieved goals from Daei (He filled offsite for Mexicans on first goal) and Mirzapour (second goal) and Damn who blame for the last one!!!

This is my last comment!!
Don’t cry like a baby anymore

Doo doo roo doo doo ……. IRAN

Come on Abbas! Don’t be like that :)

I am not negative. As a matter of fact I say we will defeat Portugal.

What do you think of that?

Come back and post, come on! :)

hey guys.
we need fresh strikers to keep the portugal goal keeper in fire Ali daie is ok,but there is some fresh legs like khatibi & enayati that could change any thing in 3 seconds if branko just believe them for at least 45 min. karimi is every thing and we need mahdavikia in right post then we will see something from the team also zandi needs to be in the mid field beside teymorian ,hashemyan needs to join to the team in first of 2nd half.

I think you guys will be fine, don’t loose hope.
I’m new to the WC thing, but I’m routing for you.

Looking forward to the next game.

Can anyone interpret PISH TA PAYAN EI JAVIDAN IRAN for me? I can’t find it’s meaning.

” I know this is not simple for us persians.”

-lets use the term “iranians”, rather than persian since not all of iran are persians (i’m kurdish for example).

GO IRAN!!! lets kick some portuguese ass :).

Does anyone have any reliable update on the condition of Karimi and Mahdavikia? Has Karimi recovered from his fresh injury in the Mexico game?

Go Iran!! Go Team Melli!! Let’s grind these Oranges into Orange Juice!! :-)

Ali karimi f** us with his injury and now f** madanchi too!
who said we need experianced players? ohhhhhhhhhh
i think if it goes on like this we will have just 2 players:
1 ali daie
2 mirzapour :D
they are enough for our next game :D
SO BE HAPPY AND SAY:
iran chikaresh mikone?kojasho sorakh mikone????

Besides Iran, my favorite team is…..ANGOLA……chances are they’ll loose, but what if? Stranger things have happened!

I actually am really looking forward to Saturday. TM is looking pretty good; everyone except Madanchi practiced today, and from the pics were all in a good mood. All this leaking about injuries and starting lineups may well be good psy-ops by Iran. Let’s just wait and see. I’m pretty sure Daie won’t start (likely 2nd half sub); Karimi, Kia, Zandi, are all IN baby….look out Portugal, ’cause you’ve got a bunch of Iranians with nothing to loose coming right at you!!!!

I say we’re gonna do it. Let’s stay high. They are capable of doing it these Iranian players. Hands on our hearts and just think of one thing : the victory. I hope very much that the real actors ( players ) will have the same mentality towards this match.

Good news for Team Melli! Madanchi is back and he has recovered from the injury! Read the ISNA article on it. (sorry it’s in Farsi)
