Wrestlers are better managers!

The other day I read about the two Mexican defenders who were banned from the World Cup by the Mexican football federation for failing their dope test.

No worries my Mexican friends, we have our own dope problem in Iran. Although our problem is not on the field, it is in the offices of the Iranian Football Federation. They are infested with dope heads.

A couple of days ago Iran won the world freestyle wrestling title. What does it have to do with football you say? Listen to this, Ukraine participated in the tournament!

Now if I remember correctly, it was explained to us that Ukraine cancelled their March friendly with Iran for political reasons. Apparently, a different set of politics apply to wrestling matches.

Ukrainian football fans have their own problems with these cancellations too. Amazingly enough many of the reasons Ukrainians are sighting are identical to what we Iranians think are behind lack of friendly matches. We are all saying the same exact things about our coach and the federation.

I want to put together a petition to have the Iranian Wrestling Federation officials take over the Football Federation. Obviously they are a lot more competent, and know how to invite foreign team to participate in tournaments staged in Iran.
