Iran boys achieve new heights
October 18th, 2008 | By: Afshin Afshar | 1 Comment »
Our youngsters did it! They have achieved what no other Iranian U16 has ever been able to do; they have climbed to the top of the Asian U16 world.
Iran defeated a very capable Korea Republic team 2-1 to win their first ever trophy, and along the way striker Kaveh Rezaei won the scoring title.
Well done Korea for an excellent tournament, and congratulations to our boys for their new title.
