No to friendly with Oman

The tentative friendly match between Team Melli and Oman is now officially called off. Apparently the two federations could not reach a mutually agreed upon date to play the match. They had come within one day of each other, but then the difficult calendar of the both countries made it impossible to pursue.

Although the Omani football federation had agreed to pay for Team Melli’s expenses the approximately of the proposed date to the World Cup Qualifying date with UAE made it impossible to happen.

Iran will not play a friendly against Qatar before meeting UAE.
