Now it is Indonesia, or so claims the IFF!

Indonesia JerseyOkay folks, I will try to keep this simple and make it fast. Just try to keep up, okay? Here we go:

Remember how a week ago Iran was supposed to play the Chinese national team and a Chinese top flight club, and then the match with the club was cancelled so the team could play Thailand In Tehran, only to have Thailand match get cancelled because of conflicts with the Thai League matches?

Well, according to the Iranian football federation Indonesia has now replaced Thailand. According to the federation sources the match will take place on Thursday, May 28 in Tehran’s Azadi stadium.!

No disrespect to Indonesian football, but who out there really believes that an Indonesia friendly will prepare Team Melli for Korea DPR?

The IFF has been unable to schedule and organize proper friendly matches since pre Germany 2002 days. Consecutive coaches starting with Branko Ivankovic to Afshin Ghotbi have had to try to prepare their teams under such conditions.

Let’s hope Afshin Ghotbi is somehow able to pull a rabbit out of a hat and get the team through next three qualifying matches despite the IFF.
