Sattar Zare on why he left Team Melli camp
Bargh of Shiraz defender Sattar Zare told reporters that his decision to leave Team Melli camp had to do with “Problems that I’d rather not to talk about!”
The defender has been a Team Melli fixture for most of the last few years, however, now his position is up for grabs and that seems to not sit well with him.
When a reporter suggested that Zare should have stayed to compete for his position, her replied reporters, “The conditions in the camp were too difficult for me to focus on this!”
“I do not consider a player who has only 5 caps under his belt my competitor!” said Zare. “In the previous camps no one competed with each other. We were all friends! Now everyone dares to openly challenge each other!”
If you ask me, Zare is pissed because he does not have the position locked up and has to prove himself once again; too bad for him, and good for the others who will get a fair shot at making it to the final roster.

Saleh jAn, you and I know better than that, don’t we?

That’s why the previous camps never got anywhere!!! You’r not gathered there to make friends, you’r called in to form a team of the best to qualify us for WC. The true best are selected only through competion, not friendships, not connections, not bribes!!!

LOL! Yes, that sentence kind of made me wonder about previous camps too!
