Team Melli arrives in China
The Boys are in China now. They arrived in Peking, dumped their luggage in the hotel, had a light workout, and went back to the hotel for a good night’s sleep.
They are due back on the training grounds tomorrow.
Everyone is pretty good shape according to the reporters who are accompanying the team. Mehdi Mahdavikia and Vahid Hashemian are scheduled to arrive from Grmany, and Masoud Shojaei from Spain.

I watched the highlights of their match against Indonesia last night and was not impresses at all – let’s see how they will perform against China, then we can judge how capable Ghotbi is

Hamid jAn salAm, I think it is fair to say that we should expect the team to play a better than they did against Indonesia. However, it is important to note that Ghotbi has had the team for only a few weeks. So one should not expect miracles

Correct me if I am wrong Afshin jan, I noticed in that game that the team was again employing the old habit of “zire toop zadan” – I really hate this type of old fashioned football – when you think Iran is in the top 4 nations in Futsal, that should say something about the technical abilities of the Iranian players, hence they should adopt a Brazilian type of football as opposed to an English type. Plus considering the fact that Iranian players are no way as good as the Internation players in the air, then the manager should have never adopted a high-ball tactic in my opinion, despite the fact that Indonisian players were shorter than Iranian players.

No, you are correct. I don’t know what causes this, ecept coaching. Look at Iranian players who play abroad. Their game improves within the first six months that they nove there! So in my opinion, that shows our problem is coaching and not the players.
What do you think?
